Accommodation
During the Summer Academy, participants can book affordable and suitable accommodation via the St. Sebastian student dormitory or via recommended private landlords.
Bookings can only be made via the portal once you have been accepted onto a course.
Here is an overview of the special features of each option:
Student residency - Institut St. Sebastian
Stay in the Heart of Salzburg’s Old Town!
The Institut St. Sebastian is located at Linzer Gasse 41, right in the historic center of Salzburg, at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg. You'll find yourself just steps away from the Mozarteum, Salzburg University, and many famous sights. The Old Town and Hohensalzburg Fortress are easily reachable on foot.
Room Features:
- Comfortable single and double rooms, each with a private shower and toilet
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the building
- Bed linen and towels are provided
Shared Facilities:
- A shared kitchen on each floor, equipped with an induction stove, microwave, electric kettle, and individual refrigerator compartments
- Washing machine and dryer available on the ground floor (small fee applies)
- A sunny rooftop terrace on the 5th floor with stunning views
Rates per person per night: Between 53 Euros and 74 Euros per person per night, depending on the room type.
There are only 9 rooms available, so be sure to book early!
Private accommodation
For those who prefer a more personal touch, the Summer Academy provides a list of recommended private landlords. These accommodations often offer a home-like atmosphere and are located in various neighbourhoods. Prices vary based on the agreement with the landlord. The list of private accommodations is available on the participant portal after successful admission.
