The Criss-Cross music programme by artist, queer activist, and curator Zosia Hołubowska consists of live acts and music sets that combine experimental and electronic club music. The invited musicians and DJs celebrate local communities and connections. Each event follows a no-headliner rule so that different scenes and initiatives from Austria and Central Europe come together on an equal footing over the summer. Expect music that questions genre borders, brave and vulnerable performances, and diversity of talents. The selection strives to center marginalized perspectives and music charged with subversive messages.

Breaking free from binary Visions, Seba Kayan´s Art embodies a harmonious fusion of western and Eastern Cultures, rather than creating divisions she skillfully intertwined both worlds. By seeking the past in archives, an imagination of tomorrow is getting shaped into a hybrid music. Acquiring ascriptions and deconstructing them in the musical process, as a collective improvisation process is an ongoing process for her. This method of relating to the ancestors, to a collective memory tells also an a-linear historical narrative.

Maksym Uvarov aka MKCMLLN is a Ukrainian DJ, sound producer and a host of Oxygene at Res Radio. Hailing from Kyiv’s vibrant nightlife he carries the gene of its unconditional uniqueness. Deeply inspired by the classics of 90s house, techno and trance MKCMLLN always delivers the captivating sound, blissful and euphoric.
MKCMLLN is mixing a lot of house and trance, predominantly progressive from the 90s and early 00s but also acid house or tech house etc, sometimes going into more techno(minimal/dub) slightly adding acid. Also breaks, breakbeat or progressive breaks can appear!

Rent
Rent ist the pseudonym of artist and ecologist Katrin Euller. Rent’s sounds refer to industrial ecosystems, interconnections, dark landscapes and their stories and the stories of those who inhabit these places. At the same time, it is the processes of sound creation itself that emerge in Rent's compositions: sounds influence each other, reinforce each other, cancel each other out, dissolve and become noise, sound like the city, a car alarm for example. Then everything gets lost in the fog again.
Building from a reputation of thrilling live performances Rent breaks new ground with Kill A Phantom, evolving from the tropes of industrial and noise to forge cinematographic scenes of dark matter and metamorphic bodies. What first appears as confrontational music undergoes an idiosyncratic alchemy. Harsh sounds collide with digital remains and field recordings and form an ephemeral unity whose story unfolds and changes over time, while at the same time revealing genuine vulnerabilities and trauma.
