The Criss-Cross music programme by artist Zosia Holubowska consists of live acts and music sets that combine experimental and electronic club music. Invited musicians and DJs celebrate trans-local communities and connections. Each event follows a no-headlining rule, so different scenes and initiatives from Eastern and Central Europe meet equally over the summer. Feminine with queer with non-binary with trans sounds and moves connect in Salzburg.

Hyeji Nam / Ironica Los Culos / ZEY

Hyeji Nam is an interdisciplinary artist working across media like video, performance, installation and sound. Combining digital media and real flesh, she questions the relationship between our mind and digitalised bodies. Her recent sound performances have been shown in Vienna Art Week, Parallel, The Gym and Hyperreality,  as well as in Mumok in collaboration with VBKÖ and mirabella paida mwoyo dziruni. This year in 2023, her first album "miracles" has been released from the Viennese independent record label Tendermatter. 

Ironica Los Culos aka Dj Möser started DJing in the 90's. Back in the days she was part of the Attac sound system and played a broad variety of hard dance music like acid techno, hardcore, breakcore or jungle. Being a sophisticated DJ for many years, she does select her records carefully and knows how to get both audiophiles and spontaneous dancers moving. Expect an eclectic mix of noise, hip hop, jazz, IDM, Breakcore and everything that inspires Ironica.

ZEY is a Vienna based DJ. Their creativity is a tool of liberation - their own and of others. In relation to their own Black*queer lived experience, they are primarily sharing the sonic emancipatory potentials of queer creatives of the African Diaspora. Genre is not as important to them as exploring links between spaces and mapping electronic music from Africa, Euro-American landscapes and Black Latin America.
